See-saw is a disturbing party, a wild ritual where three characters meet with only one goal: to win that mysterious trophy. Between dance, acrobatics and theater, this absurd show invites the audience to forget their logic and go through different emotions during the time of a game.
In See-saw, the Troïka collective puts on the table questions about a facet of human nature: the human gambler. Metaphorizing the game to life, we ask ourselves: What are our greatest desires? What strategies are used to achieve them? Where are our limits?
With humor and lightness, we put our finger on the most cruel and absurd human behaviors, on the vice to victory and what leads to wars and violence.

Created in 2021, the collective is formed in Madrid, with three dancers meeting in the same training place Descalzinha Danza. Sharing a similar artistic universe, but coming from very different backgrounds, they decide to associate their different skills in the creation of their first performance: See-saw. Absurdity, humor and at the same time sensibility define the shared universe.
The Troïka collective is multidisciplinary (circus, singing, theater, dance,…). The research of the meeting points between these different disciplines is at the heart of the collective’s work.
