Babirusa Danza, founded by Beatriz Palenzuela and Rafael de la Lastra, since its creation has premiered several productions for theaters and non-conventional spaces. The company understands the scenic fact as a complex artifact where all the parts are fundamental. In their works, contemporary dance, cinematographic, poetic and beauty merge, being present in their choreographies a physicality full of nuances.
The emotional strength of his compositions move the viewer to be part of the work, making him a participant and working empathy as the engine of communication. BABIRUSA DANZA has shown its works in several national and international festivals such as the Tanzmesse Düsseldof Fair in Germany, AltoFest European City of Culture Matera Italy 2019, Madrid en Danza or the FIT of Cadiz, among others.
