Imaginarios Monstruosos begins when Pinocchio has already managed to become a child of flesh and blood. However, he lives with the fear of being discovered, the shame of having been born a puppet.
A version that reveals the monster that we imprison inside us for conforming to the values of the culture under the unconscious belief that if we show our defective part, we will suffer rejection.
A montage that invites us to travel from the uncertainty caused by the darkness of the shadow to the tenderness that awakens when we recognize our own vulnerability.

CIA La Lioparda is an entity formed by professionals from the world of live arts and pedagogy, founded by Leo Alburquerque and Manuela Acereda in 2017 on the island of Mallorca.
Our productions can take various forms: performances, laboratories of creation and movement, training workshops, research, publications or days of reflection…. Our shows inhabit the border between physical theater, dance, object theater, performance and visual arts; and are recognized as poetic actions, understanding artistic practice as a tool to raise questions about the system and the established order where one’s own experience becomes a source of knowledge and a starting point.
