Open borders began as a utopia about opposing visions: the rural and the urban with a focus on women in a hollowed out Spain.
This theme inevitably connects us with a form of still life, with forgotten villages, migrations and agrarian nature, with forgotten villages, with migrations and with agrarian problems in the age of digitalization; all seen through the prism of the women who inhabit these spaces. They inhabit bodies conditioned by their environment and climatology. We were also interested in addressing masculinities in agrarian environments.
The synthesis of these ideas led us to question meanings such as borders. Borders in various aspects: gender borders; migratory borders; physical and mental walls; losses at borders; boundaries….
…what images could evoke these sensations? What do physical tensions give us? …What if these borders were to break down? Are we capable of letting our internal borders fall apart?

EnClaveDANZA feels like a fleeting encounter of diverse consciences; a multidisciplinary work that enriches the imaginary, seeks a social content that raises the consciousness of the public and new spaces of habitability.
Since its inception it has been working with artists from different disciplines and with dancers of different styles and physical abilities.
